Wow...I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going by!!! With Colin it felt as if time was just creeping...not this time! Not when I am chasing after and trying to keep up with an extremely active 23 month old. Yes...I said 23 month old (today). I can't believe my "baby" is going to be 2 years old in 1 month. He is growing up so fast. He talks up a storm now and has definitely hit the "terrible two's". He has really started to notice my belly poking out lately and talks to "bubba" a lot more frequently. He usually pulls up my shirt and says "heeey bubba" and gives him a kiss then puts my shirt back down and says "night night"!! It's the sweetest thing. Colin has been sick this past week with Hand, Foot, Mouth disease. It sounds absolutely horrible and the symptoms are, but it is only a viral infection that young kids get. Colin has horrible blisters on the soles of his feet that probably hurt me more than him but I'm ready for them to heal already!! It just breaks my heart when he sits in my lap holding his feet saying "hurt Mama, hurt" or "itch it Mama". I'm just ready for him to be well. Less than 4 weeks until his birthday party, so he should be much better by then!!
The pregnancy is going well. I am really starting to show now...ughh!! I already feel like a cow and i havent even gotten into the maternity clothes good yet..lol. The baby is moving like a champ. I don't think he sleeps AT ALL!!! I hope this is not a sign of how it's going to be once he is here:/ We STILL do not have a name. Chris doesn't seem to like ANY of the 50 names I have mentioned to him and I don't like the 1 he has mentioned to me. So I have given up for now on naming the baby. Hopefully Chris will come up with some more names he likes and I can pick from them. If not I guess I get the final say the day I give birth...lol.
Chris got started today painting the baby's room. I'm starting to get really excited about doing both the boys rooms. I hope that Colin will take the transition to a Big Boy room well. I have a feeling he isnt though...we will see.
