Just a quick update on my Doctors appt friday...Everything looked good. They put me on the monitor and Meyer was "very reactive" which I guess is what they were looking for. I still had a few contractions while I was on there but once again I had no cervical changes. I don't have to go back until after Meyer is born...YAY!!!!!!! He told us to be at the hospital Friday morning at 6 am. They will take me back to the OR at 0730 and he will start right at 0800. It's getting close!!!!
On another note...Our laptop bit the dust yesterday so I have no internet access at my house right now. Hopefully we will get a new one before the baby is born...we will see.

Doctors Appt update!!
Chris and I went to the doctor yesterday (I was 36 week 5 days). I had a NST (they put me on the monitor) when I first got there. I got a little worried because the nurses kept coming in to check the strip and had me turn on my left side, drink juice and just plain seemed concerned. I asked what was going on and they said the baby was "acting up". They never said for sure but from what I could remember from my OB classes in nursing school, it looked like maybe his heartrate was a little low and they wanted more variablity (heart rate to fluctuate more). I was contracting quite frequently but they weren't too concerned about that. They kept me on the monitor for about 45 minutes then I had to wait to see Dr. H. He really didn't say much about the babies heartrate, but he did notice all the contractions. He checked my cervix and said his head was still really low, but I was not dilated yet. He wanted to write me out of work but we agreed he would write for 6 hrs a day for the next week, with the understanding that I will have good days and bad days with the pressure on my pelvis and if it's a bad day I may not be able to work but couple of hours. So, for now (at least the next week), I'm ok and baby is ok. I really want to make it to my C-section date. We have everything all planned out. The baby has slowed down with all the crazy acrobatics he had been doing. My guess is he's running out of room!!!! So, until next week...keep me and Meyer in your prayers!!!

Pregnancy update
Just an update on how things are going. I am 36 weeks and 3 days today. Last weeks doctors appointment didn't go as smoothly as I had planned. The weekend before, Chris and I had a HORRIBLE stomach virus. Evidently the force of me vomiting pushed the baby down into my pelvis. I had been feeling pelvic pressure for a couple of days but wasn't to concerned about it. Dr. H checked me last Thursday and said Meyer was SUPER LOW. Plus 2 station to be exact. I was 50 % effaced but surprisingly I had not dilated any. My belly was measuring small as it did 2 weeks prior so he did an ultrasound. The baby weighed in at 5 lbs 2 oz. His belly measured on the small side so Dr. H said we would keep an eye on it. My amniotic fluid looked good.
Now for this week. I have been completely MISERABLE!!! I literally feel like I'm walking around with a bowling ball between my legs. There are times the pain is so bad that I can't even walk. I really think he has dropped even lower. I haven't been able to work my full shift at work this week. I've just been working about 5 hours or so everyday. I've been having more and more contractions everyday. They just aren't staying consistent.
I really hope that I can make it to my scheduled C-section, which is 16 days away, but I'm not sure that's going to happen. I'm so worried that I will have him too early. I hope I can at least make it another week. I don't want another NICU baby. Another concern is that Colin won't be able to come to the hospital AT ALL to see me or his new baby brother. All because of this stupid H1N1 crap. I've already asked Dr. H how soon he can get me out of there (and he said 48 hrs). I want to get home to my first baby and let him meet his "bubba". He's telling me to "get bubba out" of my belly.
I have another doctors appointment this Friday. They are putiing me on the monitor to see how my contractions are. I'll post this week end on how everything is progressing!!!
