My Little Peanut!!

I had my first ultrasound and Doctor's appointment on Monday, March 23rd. I originally had an appt to see the same doctor that delivered Colin. I had felt a little uneasy about this for a while but didn't say anything to anyone. The morning of the appt, the office called to say that the ultrasound tech went home sick, so I wouldn't be able to do that part of the visit unless I came in to see another doctor, whom which I had heard nothing but good things about. Of course I agreed to see this other doctor. I was really impressed with him and have decided to stick with him and have him deliver this baby!! He will fix my previous C-section scar and make it look a little better, which I am really excited about. He was very thorough with everything. He does his own ultrasounds. He pointed out everything to me, even the baby's arm and leg buds that were moving all over the place. The baby measured 8 weeks and 1 day (which makes me 9 weeks and 1 day today) and the due date is November 1, 2009. We will schedule a C-section about 10 days before that. I think this is when it finally hit me that I am pregnant. My symptoms are so much different than when I was pregnant with Colin. I am still extremely tired, even if I take a nap. I have had a few bouts of nausea, but nothing to really complain of. I am getting a little baby bump...pics to come soon....

March Snow

Colin's first snow!!! He didn't know what to think. He would just stare at the sky watching the snow flakes fall. He wasn't too steady walking through the snow so he didn't move much. Daddy took him sledding down the hill in a laundry basket...Colin seemed to enjoy it!!!

Is that 2 lines?

Chris and I are proudly announcing that we are expecting baby #2!!! We found out on February 27th. I went to my first appointment on March 10th for labs and they gave me an estimated due date of November 2nd!! I go for an ultrasound on March 23rd and will have a more exact due date. I haven't been sick...so far. I was sick from 4 weeks to 14 weeks with Colin and so far Ive been lucky. I do feel extremely tired though. I struggle to stay awake every afternoon. Other than that and a few mood swings, I have felt really good and I pray that this pregnancy will be easy. COlin has just recently started saying "bay bay"...baby...He doesn't completely understand, but I have been telling him that Mommy has a baby in her belly and he will lift up my shirt and kiss my belly. It is the sweetest thing. He is going to be such a good big brother!!!

18 Months

Another month has flown by. My baby is officially "one and a half". I can't get over how fast he is learning and understanding new things. He has loved music since he was born and started dancing as soon as he could kick his legs. Any time he hears music he will stop where he is and start dancing. I finally got him on video dancing a little. Every time I try to video him he gets shy and stops. This video is priceless...

Chris got me the perfect Valentines Day card this year and I had to post a picture of it on here.

Valentines Day weekend I decided to bake cupcakes for Colin and man did he enjoy it!!!
