Family Day

Chris and I both had this past Thursday off, so we decided to take Colin to the Pumpkin Patch at Grammy and Papa's Stand. Colin was amazed with all the pumpkins. He couldn't pick one before spotting another. He had a blast.

Hmmm. Which one?

This one maybe?

After we picked out our pumpkin, we decided to take Colin to the park for a little while. He had so much fun running around and playing with Daddy. I wish we had time for more days like this.

Staind

Chris and I had a night out to ourselves Tuesday night. We went to the Staind concert in Simpsonville. I couldn't tell you the last time we have been out...just the 2 of us. We really needed this. You would think we would find plenty of things to talk about and discuss and instead all we seemed to talk about was Colin. We are both so amazed, proud and in love with that little boy. We did have a really good time. Staind is one of Chris' favorite bands. We saw a few other bands too. I can't wait for our next "date night"!!

Mohawk

Just a couple of cute pics of Colin with his Mohawk. I can only do this with his hair while its wet...once it dries it just falls down. He doesn't have much hair as it is, so I'm super excited that I half way gave him a Mohawk. I only had my camera phone at the time and he wasn't cooperating very well, but you'll get the point.

Elbow update

Things have been going as well as expected I guess. I started back to work on Monday. It has been pretty sore. I'm suppose to be on light duty but it sure doesn't feel like it. I pretty much do everything except push beds upstairs. I guess in the long run it will help me by forcing myself to use the arm to straighten and bend. It just feels like 8 hours of PT everyday. I go back to the Doctor next Tuesday so I will keep everyone informed.

13 Months

I can't believe my baby is 13 months old today. It seems like he should be this cuddly little infant that I can scoop up with one arm, but he's not. He is a beautiful toddler, running around, talking up a storm. I miss the infant stage but I am also loving watching him grow and learn new things everyday. He is becoming a daddy's boy more and more. He completely lights up when Chris walks into the room. I love watching my too favorite men together. Chris had Colin the other day while I was working and sent me the cutest picture on my phone. We put in a cat door in the door leading out into the garage so that Sobe could go in and out. Chris went in the garage to get something and left Colin inside playing. Chris heard the cat door opening and closing and looked over to find Colin looking through it saying "DaDa". I guess he wanted to know why his daddy didn't take him outside with him.
